2021 OUTREACH STATISTICS
Destiny Church is committed to serving our surrounding communities, over the years we have served our communities in all aspects of needs. For example, food distributions, fire victims, foster children and first responders. For year 2021 we really focused offering help while navigating the pandemic. Even though communities have learned to deal the challenges of the pandemic Destiny is still at the forefront if a need arises.

$30,000 in labor and materials for the beautification of rundown houses and empty lots in Desert Hot Springs. Over 150 volunteers and 2 contractors (Padron Contractors & DANTOR Construction ) dedicated their day to this project

250,000 pounds of distributed including 750 Turkeys

Beacon for Him (Long Beach) Low Income Housing food delivery to 34 families, Harbor Interfaith Services delivery of nonperishable food items, Delivery of food to the Wilmington Teen Center, Project Sheppard senior citizens food distribution and partnering with Fresh Rescue Food Bank as needed

600 care packages 400 Hot Meals delivered

25 pairs of new shoes delivered to an all boys foster care

Partnered with His Hands of Hope by contributing to the distribution of hot meals and the purchase of 750 bibles.

We support Lakewood residents and seniors in need by dropping off food once a month.

We have the opportunity to support this ministry as needed, as it is partnered with the Fresh Rescue Food Bank.

We support this ministry by dropping off non-perishable food items every other week.

As a Find Food Distribution Center, we provide groceries and other basic needs to families in need every month.

BEACON FOR HIM || Long Beach
We partner with Beacon for Him to pray with and deliver food to 34 families in our community, every other Thursday. Beacon for Him is a Long Beach, CA, homeless outreach ministry with a mission to share God's love and hope with displaced and at-risk men, women, and children in our community by building personal relationships with them, and loving them where they are.

ANTI-RECIDIVISM INITIATIVES
We partner with local law enforcement and adult supervision units to help soft re-entry for formerly incarcerated men and women through mentorship, self help groups, job readiness and spiritual training.
SERVE DAY | All Day Event
An all day event, where 200+ volunteers partner with local officials to serve and beautify our surrounding communities. Some projects done have been the painting of homes, lot cleaning, rebuilding of rundown fences, and the deep cleaning of homes of disabled individuals. Serve day is in partnership with local code enforcement and government officials to better our surrounding communities.
